On Thursday, Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi thanked Indian kabaddi players for spreading awareness about the Arogya Setu app among their fans. Reportedly, this app helps people to know if any infected person of coronavirus is around or not.
Replying to U Mumbai on twitter, PM wrote, “Trust out kabaddi players to know a thing or two about giving a good fight. And here they are telling you what will help in the against COVID-19.”
There are so many players who are requesting people for downloading and using the app. Player’s like Ajinkya kapre, Athul MS, Surinder Singh and Abhishek Singh urged people to download the Arogya Setu app and to stay safe.
Earlier, the Prime Minister also urged people to download the app and explained it’s importance also.
“Arogya Setu is, an important step in our fight against COVID-19. By leveraging technology, it provides important information, as more and more people use it, its effectiveness will increase. I urge you to download,” PM Modi said.
The total positive cases of coronavirus in India is around 12000 people and 400 people have died. And around 1000 people have been cured.
