“He’s lucky his hip is not broken”: President Joe Biden given all clear by Sports doctor after awkward bike ride fall

President Joe Biden was recently on a leisurely bike trip in his home state of Delaware. He was at Gordon’s Pond State Park in Rehoboth Beach when he stopped to greet supporters. However the stop went quite awry as Biden fell awkwardly on his right side. Coming as a shock, a lot of people came to help the President, who thankfully reacted with a “I’m good”.

According to foxnews.com, this type of spill could happen to anyone. As inertia is present, falling is much easier at slower speeds. As Biden placed his left foot down and shifted weight onto the right pedal, his foot got caught in the toe cage. Since he could not get his foot out to steady himself in time, he took quite a large tumble.

Twitter reacts as Joe Biden avoids breaking hip due to quick reactions

Biden however did seem to be quick enough to react to at least break his fall, and not his hip. Biden does seem to have reasonably strong bones since he avoided a break. However, even though Biden is in the prime age for a hip fracture has thankfully avoided it. Biden was lucky to have avoided a hip fracture, which is a very serious injury. Some people however, has quite the reactions to Biden falling, from humour to concern.
