Any user of the platform less than 18 years of age would not be allowed to spend more than 3 hours and will be shown a pop-up notification for the same, and restricting access till the next suitable time. It is also officially declared that players will have to provide their parent’s or guardian’s mobile number to authenticate that they are legally eligible to play the game.

Furthermore, the in-game expenditure of any player below 18 will be restricted till INR 7000/-. Battlegrounds Mobile India’s privacy policy regarding underage players reads, “If you are under 18 years of age, you will be asked to provide the mobile phone number of your parent or guardian to confirm that you are legally eligible to play the game. If you are a parent or guardian and you believe your child under 18 years of age has provided us with personal information without your consent, you can contact us and request your child’s information to be deleted from our system.” All these measures and restrictions have been taken to verify young users’ ages in order to enforce playing time limits.
