Rafael Nadal teases fans with new Instagram post

Rafael Nadal indulges in some fun with his fans, keeps them guessing with his new Instagram post.

Rafael Nadal is not just a tennis player, he is a brand in himself. Nadal is one of the top five highest-paid tennis players of all time, and has won more than $119 million in prize money. Nadal has endorsement deals with several companies including Nike, Tommy Hilfiger, Kia and French sports equipment company Babolat. According to Forbes, in 2020 alone, Nadal had earned more than $27 million in endorsements. 

Outside the tennis world, Nadal has a number of other ventures including a tennis academy, a foundation for children and several properties. His tennis academy, called Rafael Nadal Academy, is situated in Manacor, Illes Balears, Spain. The  Academy features 26 tennis courts, both hardcourt and clay, and it also has a football field, squash court, player gym, along with a host of other facilities.

In 2008, Nadal and his mother Ana Maria Parera established the Fundación Rafa Nadal (Rafael Nadal Foundation), which focuses on sport and education for disadvantaged children. Among his properties he has luxury yachts, expensive cars, he owns homes in Spain and Dominican Republic all upwards of $1.5 million

Nadal in his recent Instagram post speaks about something big he is going to announce on the 7th of April, 2021. His fans would no doubt be eagerly awaiting for the announcement. The post came along with a description in Spanish.

 In Spanish it said, “ Sin ella no hay derrota o victoria, celebración o alegría. Sin ella no se puede disfrutar de lo importante. ¿Os hacéis una idea de a lo que me refiero? ¡Mañana os lo cuento!” 

In English that loosely translates to, Without it there is no defeat or victory, celebration or joy. Without it you cannot enjoy what is important. Do you have an idea of ​​what I mean? I’ll tell you tomorrow!
