Rajon Rondo sends cryptic message being unsure of future with the LA Lakers

There is no doubt that Rajon Rondo was one the prime reasons in the playoffs why Lakers cruised past several teams. Be it in clutch situations or sensational passes to Anthony Davis, Rondo did it all to support the magical duo of Davis and Lebron. This was a season of resurgence for the NBA veteran, 34-year-old Rondo averaged 6 assists per game in the playoffs.
After being drafted in the NBA by the Phoenix Suns, Rondo moved to the Boston Celtics in 2006. He later went onto win the Championship with the Celtics in 2008 where he turned himself into a beast. Rondo’s downfall started after 2014 when he was drafted to Dallas Mavericks. His importance, game time and value clearly dropped with major concerns with injuries.
Rondo’s future at the LA Lakers

Rondo tuned himself into the Playoffs Rondo with the Lakers in the 2019-20 season. After winning his second championship with the Lakers, Rondo’s value had increased because of his performance. After the NBA Finals, rumors emerged that Rondo would reject his player option and enter free-agency to capitalize on his value. Rondo will look to earn an improved contract, given that he is entering the twilight of his career.
A host of experts have speculated about Rondo’s future, and where his landing destination will be at the start of the next season. Rondo’s future is still uncertain, with no one knowing where he will go. He has kept his cards close to himself, not giving any hint about his next move.
The veteran point guard would look to settle his future soon, backing down all the speculations as the NBA 2020-21 season is going to start from December 22.
