Marcus Rashford, the star of Manchester United thanked the manager of the team Jose Mourinho for making him a better player. From the beginning of the season 2016-17 till the removal of the Portugese coach in December 2018, Rashford played under Mourinho.
Rashford was able to add Carabao Cup and Europa League tournament wins in his kitty with Mourinho.
Rashford said on the official website of Manchester United that, “It was tough but I think when you look back on it in five or six years, they’re the moments that give you that mental toughness. As an all-round player I’ve improved a lot and a lot of it is down to those two years under Jose.”
Further he added, “We had ups and downs. When I look back at it, it was a tough period but definitely a period that made me a better player.”
Before he stepped back because of his back fracture, in 31 appearances, Rashford has total 19 goals in the season 2019-20. He has scored 19 goals in all the competition of this season under the current manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
It was expected that Rashford will be out of the team for three months but the manager said that in this season it is not sure that he would came to the game or not.
