With his signing on the way to FaZe, Markus “Kjaerbye” Kjærbye will exit free agency after he left his long-time home North, in July having decided not to return to the Danish squad following a two-month break from the competition.

The 22-year-old joins the NiKo led squad which will be in time for the start of the new season, which for FaZe will begin with their campaign at ESL One Cologne EU, taking place from August 18-30.

This move will result in Aurimas “Bymas” Pipiras leave the FaZe roster after joining at the end of May as a stand in/trial period in which he had a stint of 2 months.

Bymas had joined FaZe as a replacement for Olofmeister, who decided to take time off from the game.

Their last appearance was at cs_summit 6 where they got eliminated early at the penultimate RMR tournament.

FaZe had two tough losses to BIG to bout out in the group stage.
