“Recently he was photographed with somebody without a mask in pictures that came up online. I don’t think the treatment is that different for Novak and Roger, and Djokovic will learn from what he has done and the consequences..he will probably try to build a better persona, but to say Roger can do anything and nobody will touch him is taking it too far,” as qouted by Tennis World.

This debate has existed for a long time. Even Novak Djokovic himself has complained that he is discriminated against by the fans. Amongst the 3 GOATS he sees himself as the most unliked one. Roger Federer on the other hand plays effortless tennis which is a treat to the eyes. Over the years he has matured as a player and his temperament has helped him become an optimistic person.

He has been able to build this image of the perfect person. Knowing him, he is not far from it but he has made mistakes” Bartoli said.

However, Bartoli also expressed that the persona Federer carries has made him more appealing to people and no wonder why Roger is called “The perfectionist”.
