“Roger Federer is F***** lucky,” says Andy Murray reminiscing 2012 video

Andy Murray recently shared his remarks on an old video from 2012 where he is up against Roger Federer in a thrilling point.

Andy Murray has made a comeback in the tennis circuit post his hip surgery. Although, the Scot recently crashed out of the St. Petersburg Open as he lost to Fernando Verdasco in the opening round.

Murray has been one of the most active tennis players online. We often see him commenting on fellow players’ achievements. This time the Scot took to Instagram to express his opinions at a video of him against Roger Federer at Shanghai Masters in 2012.

Andy Murray commented on the recent video of TennisTV where duo Murray and Federer were engaged in a phenomenal point. The long rally sees Murray running across and picking up all the balls. Yet Federer attacked from the volley to get the better of Muray. Federer wins a long rally to lead in the second set.

Looking back at this match, Scot commented on the video, “That guy Federer is so f****** lucky“.

As he looks back at the 2012 match at Shanghai, the Scot finds Roger ‘lucky’ to have won the point. However, in 2012 at Rolex Shanghai Masters, the defending champion Murray lost to Novak Djokovic. While Novak was the winner, Murray was the runner-up at the ATP 1000 event.
