Roger Federer will make his much-awaited comeback at the Qatar Open to be held next week. The Swiss maestro was on the sidelines ever since his Australian Open semifinal loss to Novak Djokovic last year. Federer went through two knee surgeries and decided to skip the Australian Open this year as he was still not feeling his 100%.

Federer shared a picture from his last training session before he flies to Doha for playing the ATP 250 event. The caption read, “Last training session,” which was accompanied by an emoji of a flight implying that he would travel to Doha. The Swiss maestro reassured his fans that he was feeling his 100% and raring to go again.

As soon as Roger Federer posted the picture on Twitter, fans were delighted and cannot wait to see the Swiss maestro in action once again. One fan tweeted a picture of young Roger Federer stating that even at the age of 40, he was forever young.

Whereas on the other hand, working professionals have their time off to watch their idol in action.

Clearly, the fans are bursting with joy as they will get to see Roger Federer return to action after almost 13 months. With a long season ahead of him, Federer would look forward to having a good week in Doha to set the tone for rest of the year.
