One of the most entertaining fighters in UFC, Sean O’Malley seems to have found his matchup for the next fight inside the octagon. Ultimate Fighting Championship seem to be in working on a Sean O’Malley vs. Louis Smolka bout for the UFC 264 event that is to be scheduled on July 10.
UFC 264 event is one of the most anticipated events that is looked forward to. The event is said to be pay-per-view event that will held inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. This event is said to be headlined by Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier who fight their third bout. The report about Sean O’Malley and Louis Smolka was first reported by MMA Journalist Ryan Frederick.
Sean O’Malley has a stunning record of 13-1-0 in his professional career. The “Sugar” has lost only to Marlon Vera at UFC 252 which he claims he shouldn’t have lost. He is coming off a win against Thomas Almeida at UFC 260. Sean never fails to disappoint as most of his fights end up in KO’s and has been a fan favourite.
Meanwhile, the MMA veteran Louis Smolka last fought in the UFC in 2020. He is coming off a win against Jose Alberto Quinonez via KO/TKO in the second round. He has a record of 17-7-0. Many believe that he is an undermined match for the Suga Show.
Henry Cejudo trolls Sean O’Malley and Louis Smolka matchup
Henry Cejudo, the former Flyweight and Bantamweight champion, has not been happy with UFC’s way about the bantamweight division. Henry has been vocal about the division and its fighter and the former double champ is certainly not happy with the new matchup.
“When I didn’t think it could get any worse after seeing all these Oscar winners aka (Aljolame winners) this is what I get! I wouldn’t be surprise if this dirt bag Sean “padded record” O’Salty headlines this event. You might as well sign Jake Paul uncle Dana White,” he wrote on his Twitter.
