Sergio Ramos to be fit for El Classico after injury scare
Sergio Ramos will be fit for the El Classico against FC Barcelona according to reports. He had suffered an injury to the knee in Real Madrid’s last game against Cadiz. Moreover, Real Madrid lost the game against Cadiz 1-0 after Ramos got substituted at half time.
Ramos is Irreplaceable for Madrid
Ramos is hugely important for Madrid’s chances of winning against Barcelona in La Liga. However, he is set to miss the champions league game against Shakhtar Donetsk on Wednesday. Zidane will most likely figure out a way to beat Shakhtar but he won’t be able to deal with Barcelona without Ramos.
Tests were conducted by Madrid to see the extent of the injury and they are happy it isn’t a serious damage. Knowing Ramos, he will be itching to recover in time for the clash against Barcelona as these are matches he thrives in. Meanwhile, Odegaard will be missing 2-3 weeks of action due to a calf problem suffered during the international break with Norway.
Real Madrid are currently at third place in the La Liga Table and three points ahead of Barca. So the match between them will be of huge significance for the La Liga title race.
