After months of speculations, where many players are not happy with tennis resuming amid COVID-19 and especially after Djokovic’s ill-fated Adria tour, 23 times Grand Slam champion Serena Williams has confirmed her participation in the upcoming events.

In a recent interview with Tennis Majors, Patrick Mouratoglou, Serena Williams’s coach said that she is working hard to achieve her goals.

“Serena is practicing of course. She came back to tennis to win Grand Slams. Otherwise, she would be at home with her family, which she is doing also, but she would do this and run ber business full time. She came back only for that. It’s her home grand slam, so she wants to play and she wants to do well, so she’s preparing for that,” said Patrick.

Federer and Serena have proved that age is just a number and can never be a hurdle while achieving the best. Williams is 38 and is still playing so hard to achieve her biggest goal, to be the ‘GOAT’ of women’s tennis.

Along with this, she is just a Slam behind Margaret Court’s record for most Grand Slams [24].

Wish the best for her and hope she fulfills all her dreams.
