Smith told that it is not easy for the bowlers to get him out easily but the Pakistani legend Shoaib Akhtar doesn’t think so. He can dismiss Steve Smith within four deliveries, he said replying to ESPN Cricinfo twitter post.
The former pakistani bowler akhtar twitted from his Twitter account and joked that he can dismiss the Steve Smith in just 4 balls. “Even today, 3 hurting bouncers and i can dismiss @stevesmith49 on the 4th ball. Lol,” he said.
In response to his comment, cricket’s governing body also joined the discussion and trolled Akhtar. ICC posted a Michael Jordan meme with the legendary basketball player first looking at something, which in fact was Akhtar’s claim, and then laughing it off
When the fans asked the question on which contest they would like to see take place from 10 retired and the current top 10 cricket superstar. So one of the options in the list was a contest between Akhtar and Smith.
Akhtar, in his memorable career, has played 46 Tests in which he has taken 178 wickets at an average of 25.69. The right-arm pacer also played 163 ODis in which he has taken 247 wickets at an average of 24.97, and taken 19 wickets in 15 T20Is.
