Shooter Ankur Mittal donates Rs 1 lakh to PM Cares fund


The current situation around the world is very severe. Many people have lost their lives and many are fighting for their life due to coronavirus. Every country is also fighting to save the life of its citizens and the government is taking every possible step to control coronavirus attacks in their country.

In India PM Narendra Modi had also announced about ‘The PM-CARES’ fund in which one who is capable and wants to contribute to help the government, can donate some amount from their savings.

Many had come forward to help The Prime Minister in this novel cause. Recently, Indian shooter Ankur Mittal has also contributed INR 1 lakh to PM-CARES fund and 51,000 to Haryana corona relief fund in a bid to help the country fight against coronavirus.

He took to twitter and said, “I pledge to contribute Rs 1 lakh to PM-CARES fund and 51,000 to Haryana corona relief fund. India can, and will fight this pandemic.”

Ankur Mittal has won gold in double trap event at the 2018 ISSF world shooting championship at Changwon and a silver medal at the 2017 world championship.

The total number of corona virus cases rose to 2,301 with 56 virus linked deaths in the country.
