“Last night was the single most gut-wrenching game I have ever watched all those years because of how much I believed in this team. Cowboys were much better than the Raiders, who lost 3 straight games and went through chaos due to its coach,” he said.

Bayless also said that the Cowboys should’ve lost 50-0 instead of losing the way they lost it. He further said, “Because what he saw was the most excruciating, a painful nightmare I have ever ever seen of digging holes and digging back out, and then digging even deeper. This was a do and die game for us, not its get tight for us.”

His co-host Shannon Sharpe was surprised when Bayless said, “I’m being realistic. I’m a completely, harshly, objective Dallas Cowboys for life fan, and I’m going to give my team a 49% chance [to win the NFC East],”

He continued, “I’m trying to see the glass as half full, but the glass is broken. That’s what’s happened right now.” What do I have? I go on evidence. I go on the eye test,” he continued. Skip went on saying, “I say what I see, and I just saw through the month of November, my team stinks it up against three AFC West teams.”

The NFC East has been dreadful this season, as it has been many times before. Despite their problems this month, the Cowboys remain the only team with a winning record. With a 5-6 record, the Philadelphia Eagles are second in the division, but they’ve won two straight games. The Washington Redskins have a 4-6 record, while the New York Giants have a 3-7 record. There isn’t a playoff club among the bunch, except for Dallas.

Dallas has essentially sealed up the division at this point, but Bayless disagrees. However, let’s keep fantasy out of the way, The Cowboys are on a wrong way slide and it seems they can’t get out of the swirl.

The Raiders were an exceedingly beatable opponent but the Cowboys messed up their game. Understandably, a bad patch can happen anytime and players are already frustrated. Now onwards, the key for the Dallas outfit would be to play fearlessly. They have got nothing to lose from here.
