After Colby Covington’s racist remarks, he has evidently caught the eye of many UFC stars for all the wrong reasons. Lead by Israel Adesanya, Sijara Eubanks also showed her dismay against Covington’s mindset and statement who thrashed even the Black Lives Matter movement, being an evident Donald Trump supporter. Covington did not stop there but even went onto make racial remarks about Kamaru Usman.

In typical Colby Covington fashion, he took it too far with comments to Kamaru Usman. Off the back of a call from the President, Covington got into a heated argument with Usman and said, ‘Who did you get a call from? You get a call from, frickin’, your little tribe? They give you some smoke signals for you?’ 

However, Eubanks appreciated that her video criticising Covington went viral. Also thanked fanatics for the love and support they have poured for the historic movement.

Sijara Eubanks blasts Colby Covington 

Attending media day ahead of her UFC 253 bout with Brazillian, Ketlen Viera, Sijara Eubanks gave her view on the matter. 

Describing it as ‘flat out racist’ and ‘disgusting’, Eubanks clearly didn’t see it as an act. Sarge also stated that she didn’t feel as though it was just promotion, ‘it has to come from some source of how you really feel‘. 

She finished by saying ‘To act like a racist to me is to be racist’, clearly stating her view on the matter.’ 

It is only up to time to tell what unfolds for Covington for such bizarre statements. But what was admirable to see, was the fact that almost the entire UFC fraternity took a positive stand.
