Snooker player Pankaj Advani donates Rs 5 lakh to PM-CARES fund


    Indian Snooker player Pankaj Advani also donates 5 lakh to PM-CARES fund as every sports person is doing to help the nation to fight against corona virus. 

    He tweeted “A small gesture for a mammoth cause. Contributed Rs 5 lakh to the PM-CARES fund. Let’s spread awareness, love, compassion and spirit of unity for the greater good of humanity. Jai Hind.”

    Pankaj Advani who is an Indian billiards and Snooker player is 23 time world champion and he has achieved hat trick of hat tricks in English billiards. He holds world, Asian and Indian National championship titles. When he was 18 he won his first world title in China. Talking about his fitness Advani says mental fitness in this game is as important as physical fitness.

    When Prime Minister Narendra Modi established PM-CARES fund country vitnessed many sports person coming forward to help the nation to fight against corona virus. On 5 April 2020 Yuvraj Singh has also contributed. Then BCCI (Board of control for cricket in India) gave Rs 51 crore to PM-CARES fund.

    The total cases in India of COVID-19 has crossed 4,000 as per the report given by Ministry of health and family welfare.
