Sourav Ganguly expressed grief over the demise of the Rishi Kapoor and Irrfan Khan


On Thursday, Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor passed away at 67 at HN Reliance Hospital, Mumbai. The previous night he was admitted to the hospital but in the morning, Medical Staff announces that he is no more. The Board of Control for Cricket in India’s (BCCI) President and the former Indian Cricket Captain Sourav Ganguly expressed his grief over the demise of two of the great Bollywood actors Irrfan Khan and Rishi Kapoor.

Ganguly gave a fitting tribute to both of them and expressed his feelings on Twitter by writing, “One life .. live to the fullest and happiest .. nothing else matters .. just a reminder. Will miss u both.”

Team India’s Vice-captain in Tests, Ajinkya Rahane also extended his condolences over the demise of both the Bollywood actors. He tweeted, “First Irrfan Khan ji and now Rishi Kapoor ji. Feel really sad about this huge loss for all of us. May their soul rest in peace,”

The Kapoor Family stated that Rishi Kapoor was suffering from cancer from the last two years & He passed away at 8:45 am (I.S.T).

In September 2019, Rishi and wife Neetu returned to India after almost a year in New York for his cancer treatment. After that, Rishi was admitted to the Reliance hospital in Mumbai. He was last seen in the film ‘The Body’ alongside Emraan Hashmi and Shobita Sobhita Dhulipala which was released in 2019.

This has been a terrible week for the film industry. Yesterday Veteran Actor Irrfan Khan passed away at 53 and today Rishi Kapoor at 67.
