Indian shuttler Sai Praneeth contributed Rs 4 lakh into relief funds in order to support the fight against The Novel Coronavirus Pandemic. Precisely, He has contributed Rs 3 lakhs to PM-CARES fund and Rs 1 lakh to Telangana Cheif Minister’s Relief fund.
Taking to Twitter Praneeth said, “I contributed 3 lakh for PM relief fund and 1 lakh for Telangana Cheif Minister’s Relief fund as my part in this fight against COVID-19. Hope my contribution helps the nation in this tough situation.”
The Indian badminton player Sai Praneeth was the first male shuttler in 36 years after Prakash Padukone to win a bronze medal at BWF Championship. In The All England Super Series of the year 2016, Praneeth stunned the 2nd seed Lee Chong Wei of Malaysia in the first round in straight sets.
Besides him, Parupali Kashyap also donated 3 lakh to Telangana CM relief fund to help the State in its fight against COVID-19. He also saluted the health care workers and Police officials who are helping people to fight against coronavirus.
The total number of positive cases in India crossed 5000. In these cases, 4,643 are active while 401 have been cured & 149 have lost their lives, as per the report given by the Ministry of Health.
