Serbia has recorded over 11,000 Coronavirus cases, and World no.1 tennis player Novak Djokovic has now come up with a tremendous donation of five million Euros to the health care department of Serbia.

Novak Djokovic also contributed one million Euros in the help of their nation in the fight against Coronavirus pandemic when the pandemic was at its peak in the month of March.

Earlier, he contributed the funds to Italy and Spain as well where the Coronavirus cases were growing at a very high rate and funded the purchase of respirators and medical supplies.

“Dear Italy, even if you are going through a very difficult period. I know that you are not alone in this situation. We support you and send you our love, our prayers, and wish you to remain strong to face and overcome these difficult days. Stay strong, courageous, confident, healthy, and united. Everything will be fine,” Djokovic published on social media.

During these difficult times, including all his contributions Novak becomes the highest-paid tennis player in terms of money donated as he has already made a help of more than six million Euros so far.

Recent list by Forbes, Novak Djokovic listed in the top 100 highest paid athletes. He placed at the 23rd position with total earning of US $44.6 million ( from June 2019 to 2020). His arch rival Rafael Nadal was one position behind in the list with total earning of US $40 million. And another ‘Big 3’ Roger Federer topped the list with total earning of US $106.3 million.
