Daniel Ek has serious interest in Arsenal

The Spotify owner Daniel Ek is a huge Arsenal fan and is interested in buying the club from current owner Kroenke. He earlier tweeted expressing his interest.

“As a kid growing up, I’ve cheered for @Arsenal as long as I can remember. If KSE would like to sell Arsenal I’d be happy to throw my hat in the ring,” Ek tweeted on Friday.

He has plans to buy Arsenal with the help of three influential players namely Thierry Henry, Dennis Bergkamp and Patrick Vierra.

According to the Telegraph; Daniel Ek, Spotify’s billionaire founder, is working with Thierry Henry, Dennis Bergkamp & Patrick Vieira, three key members of Arsenal’s Invincibles team, to test Stan Kroenke’s resolve by making a takeover offer for Arsenal.

Thierry Henry earlier said that he could not recognise the Arsenal that he loved.

“I do not recognise my club and what happened just now, with them trying to join a league that would have been closed, makes no sense to me.”
