Steve Smith is the current captain of the Australian Cricket Team. He is constantly rated amongst the top batsmen of the current era. People often compare him to Virat Kohli and Kane Williamson and consider him a top tier batsman.

He also captains the Indian Premier League (IPL) side Rajasthan Royals, they have been constantly doing webinars on Instagram for the young sports enthusiasts by calling professionals like Robin Uthappa (Rajasthan Royals player), John Gloster (Australian physiotherapist and a member of Rajasthan physio squad), Scott O’Brien (former NFL player and current scout for New England patriots) and former legends like Rahul Dravid who served a greater role in sowing the seeds for Rajasthan Royals.

Due to COVID-19 players are interacting and inspiring their fans by going live on Instagram. When asked to name the fast bowler he finds difficult to face, Smith picked Pakistan’s talented left-arm seamer Mohammad Amir.

“Mohammad Amir, I think is the most skillful I’ve faced,” Smith said. Amir made his international debut at just 17 years of age against Sri Lanka in 2009.

Shortly after a year on 29th August 2010 he was arrested for spot-fixing and was banned for 5 years from international cricket for allegedly bowling two deliberate no-balls.

Mohammad Amir made his return on 19th August 2015. His pace was untouched, his technique of reverse swing made the batsmen feel ‘horror’ facing him. It was no doubt that Smith (who also was banned for ball-tampering along with David Warner from all cricket formats for a year) picked him.
