Indian goalkeeper Gurpreet Singh Sandhu thinks, his team-mate and National team captain Sunil Chhetri can play until he is 41. Chhetri is currently 35 but Sandhu thinks Chhetri is getting better ‘day-by-day’ and can play till 41.
“I can compete with Chhetri in a race as I have longer strides but he can play six-seven years easily as he is getting younger day by day,” Sandhu told in an online chat show conducted by Indian Super League (ISL).

Gurpreet Singh Sandhu is currently in Australia and has started training with Bengaluru FC team-mate Erik Paartalu. Sandhu says, “Paartalu is trying to work on my passing.” “It is easy to train with Paartalu as we are in the same city. He knows when and which pitch is free. We meet 3-4 days a week,” Sandhu added.
