PV Sindhu’s form has gained momentum and thus she would be coming in with confidence. Despite Marin’s sizzling form, she dropped a game against the Thai who challenged her. It was also seen how Marin made nervous unforced errors. Marin is physically fit, so the reason for her loss is more likely to be mental.

Carolina however is mentally strong and is capable of fantastic comebacks. Sindhu when in form has a very strong and powerful smash and can generate very sharp angles smashes and drops. It will be an interesting match between these two top players, a strong fight can be expected in this final.

Prediction: A hard prediction to make as two top guns clash, however Carolina Marin, looks stronger at the moment and is a likely winner.

Where to watch?

The final matches start at 3:30 PM IST and will be telecast live on Star Sports 3 and Star Sports 2 HD TV channels in India and Disney+ Hotstar OTT platform. The women’s singles final is the fifth in the order of play.
