David de Gea is a professional football player from Spain who plays for the English side, Manchester United. He was born on 7 November 1990 in Madrid, Spain. He caught everyone’s attention after Alex Ferguson signed him for Manchester United in 2011 from Atletico Madrid.
David de Gea made his debut for Atlético Madrid’s first team at the age of just 18 on 30 September 2009 in a UEFA Champions League group stage match against Porto. He spent two years before moving to Manchester United where he has been goalkeeping since 2011. He debuted for the Spanish National team on 8 June 2014 against El Salvador.
