Manny Pacquiao is among the greatest boxing talents ever seen in the ring. He is widely regarded as the greatest Southpaw fighter of all time. He was born in the Philippines. The fighter worked as a construction worker and grew up poor working up. Pacquiao is the only eight-division world champion in the history of boxing and has won twelve major world titles. Pacquiao was the first boxer to win the lineal championship in five weight classes. He is also the first boxer to win major world titles in four of the eight “glamour divisions.”

Pacquiao was introduced to boxing at 12 by his maternal uncle. His uncle began training his nephew in a makeshift home gym. After six months of training, Pacquiao started boxing in a park and eventually traveled to other cities to fight higher-ranked opponents. He had an amateur record of 60–4 before becoming a professional. Pacquiao became the oldest welterweight world champion in history at the age of 40 in 2019.

After his days as a boxer ended, he ventured into politics. He hopes to improve the conditions in the Philippines and even indicated his desire to become the country’s president.
