MWTC was his first tournament with John de Witt and it went really well. This obviously transpired into him taking John with him to the Australian Open next year.

Murray split with his long-time coach Jamie Delgado. Jamie has now joined the team of the Candian Denis Shpaovalov who will also be featuring at the Australian Open.

Murray will be looking to give himself some time to decide if he wants or doesn’t want to continue his work with De Witt for the remaining 2022. However, it might be heavily dependent upon the former world No.1’s performance at the Australian Open.
