Andy Murray awarded Wild Card Entry at this AO warmup tournament!

Former World No.1 Andy Murray has accepted to be the Wild Card Entry at the ATP250 Melbourne, an AO Warm-up event.

Andy Murray is a British professional tennis player. His current ranking according to the Association of Tennis Professionals is World No.134. His highest ranking according to the ATP was World No.1. He has 46 singles titles to his name out of which three are Grand Slams.

Murray is an all-court player, unlike Novak Djokovic, he is a defensive baseline player. His strengths include groundstrokes with a low error rate, the ability to anticipate and react, and his transition from defence to offence with speed, which enables him to hit winners from defensive positions. Recently, Andy participated in the Mubadala Tour, where he defeated Rafael Nadal to reach the final of the Tennis Championship.
