Top seed Ash Barty will be up against French Open champion Barbora Krejcikova in the fourth round of Wimbledon 2021. This will the first meeting between the two French Open champions.

Barty has been playing amazing tennis after recovering from injury. She is getting better with each passing match and is one of the favorites to go all the way after a lot of big names bowed out. She earned a hard fought victory over Carla Suarez Navarro in the opening round and then beat Anna Blinkova and Katerina Siniakova in the following rounds on centre court.

As for Krejcikova, not much was expected from her on grass as her game is more inclined towards clay. But she defied all odds and punched above her weight. She beat the likes of Clara Tauson and Andrea Petkovic in the opening rounds before getting the better of Anastasija Sevastova in three sets in the third round.
