He ultimately lost to Italian Jannik Sinner in the semis and that too in straight sets but still had a tournament to remember.

Nikoloz had a very forgettable outing at the 2021 Wimbledon. Nikoloz was defeated in the very first round of the grass-court Grand Slam by Andy Murray. However, the Georgian tennis star did have a successful 2021 Halle Open, where he was knocked out in the semis. He then went out in the quarters of the Hamburg Open after losing to Laslo Dere.
