“Emma has become a ‘Verb’ in our household, want my girls to ‘Raducanu’ it,” says this prominent British singer

Emma Raducanu shocked the tennis world by winning the recently concluded 2021 US Open. Not only did the young Brit become the only qualifier in the women’s game to win a Grand Slam, but she also won the event without dropping a set.
In the process, the 18-year-old has shot to fame and has firmly gripped the tennis fraternity with her prodigious talent and maturity. While Raducanu is busy signing multi-million dollar deals with several big brands, her refreshing win in New York has got many fans, experts and celebrities excited.
Already, we have seen rich praise bestowed on Raducanu by multiple renowned personalities from various walks of life. Recently, Pop Star, turned entrepreneur, Myleene Klass also went gaga about the newly crowned US Open champion.
Speaking to Tennis 365, Klass said, “She has become a verb in our household. We are saying to my two girls that they can ‘Raducanu it’ when they tell me they can’t do something and she is just wonderful. She is such a phenomenal role model. I had one girl that looked like me when I was growing up in Norfolk and now my daughters have this incredible tennis player who is representing so many people.”
Klass further added on how she was pleasantly surprised by Raducanu’s maturity and calmness, en-route to her maiden Grand Slam. The former Pop Star also expressed desire on how she would want her young girls to learn from Raducanu’s attitude and approach towards achieving goals.
“Emma spoke about her mental strength and everything she put onto our TV screens at the US Open encompasses everything about what we want to see in our kids as parents.”
“You want your children to understand that it does take hard work and determination to succeed in life and how wonderful to do it at such a young age that she appreciates she has to look after her body and her mental health to achieve her goals,” she added.
Indian Wells next stop for Emma Raducanu

Currently, the Canadian-born girl is still experiencing a positive, hangover post her win in New York and is expected to show up at the Indian Wells tournament next month.
With her stellar win at the US Open, Raducanu has already cracked the top-25 of the WTA rankings and might even have a realistic shot at being the top-10 player, come 2022.
