He has been in sensational form on tour aswell as he won the Acapulco Masters in Mexico where he defeated Britain’s Cam Norrie in the finals. He then followed it up with another great performance at the Indian Wells where he lost out in the finals against America’s Taylor Fritz. Nadal is a legend in tennis and a huge sporting figure all over the world but it is his grace, humility and dedication to the sport and towards his body that makes him a cut above the rest of the tennis stars.

Recently in an interaction with Cantabria Labs, Nadal shared how balance is very important in life. Not enjoying life and only working will never yield results. Similarly not paying proper attention to some work will also hamper work-life balance.

He shared how work-life balance has also improved his performance levels and allowed him to see the results of all the hard work that he has done over the years.

Rafael Nadal has suffered several injuries all over his body and every time he has beaten them and stood up like a champion. Hence his problems are far too many that a lot of people. But still, he tries to maintain that balance and enjoy life to the fullest.

“I started to work with better knowledge of things that were helping me, the ones that were affecting me negatively and then you are one who decides what’s best for you,Nadal stated. “In the end, balance is important. One chooses what they think is going to work best for them or what they are not ready to assume. Everything in life is about balance and measuring your efforts. If one is sleeping the perfect amount of hours, doing the right prevention work, following the right diet, training the right amount but not enjoying life well it is going to affect your performance negatively.”

The Spaniard is currently recovering from a rib injury and will miss out on the Monte Carlo Masters. Nadal is eager to do well in this year’s clay season but it depends on how quickly he recovers and gets back in action.
