Norwegian Casper Ruud has been in the form of his life. He has made it to semi-finals of both the Masters tournaments he has played this season- Monte Carlo and Madrid. He is one of the best players this Clay season and has defeated some big names like Stefanos Tsitsipas and Fabio Fognini.

This week in Geneva, he has Tennys Sandgren in the Round of 16 and got the better of Dominik Koepfer in three sets in the quarter final 2-6,6-1,6-4.

His opponent, Pablo Andujar has had the week of his life. In the Round of 16, he got the better of top seed and home favorite Roger Federer in three sets. He backed up that win by defeating yet another Swiss Dominic Stephan Stricker in the Quarter-final to make it to the first semi-final of the year.

The matcch should be a clode one. The otherwise flawless Ruud has shown glimpses of weakness in his game this week on the defensive side in the first set against Koepfer. But he has been rock solid on the forehand and will back that again.

As for Andujar, he would again back his strong baseline game against Ruud and test his defense. Expect a tight match with Ruud cruising into the final.

Prediction: Ruud to win in straight sets.
