World No.6 Rafael Nadal is set to make his comeback at the Mubadala World Tennis Championship in Abu Dhabi after having played competitively for the last time in August due to a recurring foot injury.
The fans would undoubtedly be excited to see the Spaniard back in action after the long injury layoff. His injury-shortened season meant that he wasn’t able to extend his Grand Slam wins record, just winning the Barcelona Open and Italian Open titles this year.
The Spaniard, who plays an aggressive behind-the-baseline game, would look forward to making a successful return in Abu Dhabi, the main goal being getting some match practice before the Australian Open 2022.
Nadal All Checked In and Ready!
Rafael Nadal recently checked into the luxury hotel Rixos Premium in the Saadiyat Island, Abu Dhabi, ahead of the beginning of the Mubadala World Tennis Championship.
