Iga Swiatek lifts her first WTA 1000 title
Iga Swiatek lifted her fourth WTA 1000 title on Sunday, after a straight sets victory on Sunday. The Polish teenager also became only the fourth teenager to lift a WTA 1000 title. Victoria Azarenka became the first teenager to do so, after she won the Miami Open title in 2009. Iga Swaitek became the fourth player to inflict a double bagel on their opponent in a WTA Final. The latest one came at Bucharest 2016, where Simona Halep defeated Anastasija Sevastova in the finals. Swiatek dropped just four points in the first set, and was dominant right from the onset.
