Stefanos Tsitsipas expressed his feeling after Juan Martin del Potro decided to end his career due to his knee injury. The Argentine player was trying his best of returning to professional tennis after suffering from yet another injury.
However, his plans were cut short as the condition of his knee started to deteriorate, and finally started his personal life as well. He was left with no option but to put an end to his incredible career.
Tsitsipas is one of the biggest admirers of the Argentine and got really emotional when he heard about del Potro’s retirement. He admitted, “He was my favorite player of all-time, next to [Roger] Federer.”

Tsitsipas in a recent interview said, “He was my favorite player of all-time, next to [Roger] Federer. He is someone that I grew up watching and whose style I loved. I feel like he has left a lot in tennis. He’s someone that I will definitely remember for a very long time having an impact on my career as a child.”
