Leylah Fernandez

Leylah Fernandez has not been having a great year in the Grand Slam events as she got an early-round exit at the Australian Open. She did manage to reach the quarter-finals of the 2022 French Open, her maiden quarter-finals at the Roland Garros but lost to Martina Trevisan in three sets due to an injury in her right foot. Later, the diagnosis showed a Grade-3 level injury, and it made things worse for her when she had to miss the 2022 Wimbledon Championship.

Fernandez is one of the best talents in the women’s circuit and is considered an inspiration for many upcoming players as she has some fabulous achievements to her name at such a young age. She has many more years in her career and hopefully will touch new heights.
