Back in 2007 he used to have persistent allergies that used to affect his performance on  court. After consulting his doctor, Djokovic changed his diet to plant based, that is he turned Vegan.

He had to completely remove gluten, dairy, any refined sugar products, and of course all sorts of animal protein, eggs and milk. That was 2007 and the rest as they say his History. Today Djokovic even has a vegan restaurant in Monaco, and it’s called the Eqvita Restaurant. Apart from taking care of his diet, Djokovic takes care of his body by playing a multitude of other sports like football, and even enjoys spending time in nature by going for hikes etc.
