Matteo Berrettini, Fabio Fognini and Daniel Evans are the leading names in the top half of the draw. Matteo Berrettini opens his campaign against fellow Italian, Stefano Travaglia in the first round. Norrie is a good player on grass courts, and will defeat the Russian to reach the quarterfinals.
Jannik Sinner will face Alexander Bublik in the second round, and is expected to face Norrie in the last 8 clash. Sinner has not played much grass court tennis on the senior level, and will be tested in London.
Denis Shapovalov, second seed will face a qualifier in the first round, and is expected to face the defending champion, Feliciano Lopez in the second round. The Canadian will defeat Lopez in a three set battle and face Lorenzo Sonego in the quarterfinals. The first semifinal will see Daniel Evans face Marin Cilic. Both players are good players on this surface, however, Cilic’s experience will earn him a place in the finals via a three set battle.
