Emma Raducanu spent some time in Singapore after her 2nd round exit at the Australian Open. The world No. 18 was seen practicing with her team and enjoying time off in the “Lion City”.
The 19-year-old brit will be looking forward to playing a lot of tournaments this year. After her magnificent win at the US Open last year, Raducanu hasn’t been able to replicate that kind of performance.
She has had early exits in all the tournaments she played after the win in New York. However, she has a huge career with numerous possibilities lying ahead of her and she will be looking to grab onto the opportunities she gets.
Emma Raducanu enjoys her time in Singapore
Emma Raducanu went to Singapore after her second-round exit against the Montenegrin player Danka Kovinić at the Australian Open. Raducanu lost the match in a three-set thriller and faced her first defeat in a grand slam.
The 19-year-old after losing the match opened up about a blister on her hand which affected her play during the match. However, she accepted her defeat and said that she got to learn a lot about herself and how tough she is.
Raducanu spent nearly two weeks in Singapore with her team. Practicing and enjoying her time off from tennis. She participated in the festivities of the Chinese New Year as well.
Before leaving Singapore Raducanu left a delightful post on her Instagram which read, “Singapore!! We worked, got stuck in (literally..), enjoyed the great culture, improved👷🏻♀️and had so much fun here.🦀Thank you for everyone’s warm welcome, you made it even more special. Her fans were happy to watch her play and enjoy her time off. They will be waiting for Raducanu to return back onto the court and also to watch her play on Clay at the Roland Garros for the first time.
