The two stars have been seen supporting each other on the tennis court many a time. The Italian star recently claimed that the lockdown was very important to test them as a couple and it had no negative effect on their relation whatsoever. In fact, it made their relationship even stronger.

Matteo Berrettini’s girlfriend Ajla Tomljanovic is an Australian tennis player. She was born on May 7, 1993, in Zagreb, Croatia. She has an older sister named Hana who also played tennis for the University of Virginia.

Ajla has played several mixed-doubles tournaments in the past with fellow Australian Nick Kyrgios. Ajla reached her career high-career ranking of World Number 39 on the single circuit of the WTA Tour last year. At present, she holds the World No.73 position.

Tomljanovic is a huge fan of basketball. She started playing tennis when she was just six years old. The Australian has been coached by Fernando Martinez and Rene Gomez. She officially became a citizen of Australia back in 2018.

Reportedly, Ajla also dated Nick Kyrgios in the past before getting involved with Matteo Berrettini. Nick and Ajla parted ways back in July 2017.
