At the 2021 US Open, she started from the qualifying rounds and without dropping any set, she made it all the way to the finals of the Grand Slam, becoming the first-ever player to achieve this feat at any Grand Slam.

Emma during her fortnight in New York displayed a variety of shots and amazing mental fortitude as she took down big names without having the need to even reach the tie-breaker demolishing opponents in straight-sets.
