Regarded as one of the greatest athletes of all time, Serena has looked out of sorts this season. However, in the absence of Naomi Osaka and Simona Halep, Serena does have a golden opportunity to make a thumping comeback. On the other hand, Aliaksandra Sasnovich hasn’t had a fruitful season either. She was knocked out from the qualifier stage in the Queen’s Championship by Priscilla Hon in straight sets. The highly-awaited clash between Serena and Sasnovich will be telecasted on BBC TV and live-streamed on Prime Video in the UK.

Despite being out of form recently, Serena is expected to go past Aliaksandra Sasnovich without much hassle. However, it would be interesting to see how far Sasnovich can stretch the current World No. 8 in the first-round clash. The Belarusian national did play some high-quality tennis at the Serbia Open this season.
