After years of search for a title sponsor, WTA has finally landed a deal with an American health-focused med-tech company, Hologic. The lucrative deal with Hologic is estimated to be valued at $120million and is the largest global sponsorship deal in WTA history

“From the start, we knew Hologic was the right partner. As we embark on a new era of women breaking barriers and understanding how imperative our health is to reach our full potential, Hologic joins the WTA family at a pivotal time. Reflecting on the passion we both share for women’s equality around the world, I look forward to the meaningful change this partnership will spark for our athletes, sport, and fans,” said WTA President Micky Lawler.
Hologic is a medical technology company that mainly focuses on women’s health and is a pioneer of cutting-edge products in all the medical fields- surgical, diagnostics, and imaging. As part of the deal, Hologic will hold the title right for tournamnets on the WTA cicrcuitt and will also be the official helath sponsor.
