Former world No. 1 Andy Murray, who has received a wildcard entry into the Moselle Open, decided to travel by train to reach the desired destination.

British tennis star Andy Murray is a name to reckon with in the world of tennis. The former world No. 1 tennis star has achieved a lot in his illustrious career. However, in recent times, the Brit hasn’t been able to deliver his best on the court due to recurring injuries.

Andy had to spend a considerable amount of time off the court as he was struck down by injuries. After recovering, Murray had a hard time on the court. However, with time, Andy’s performances are improving. He even stretched World No. 3 Stefanos Tsitsipas to five sets in the opening round at the US Open.

Recently, Andy received a wildcard entry in the Moselle Open. In order to reach the required destination, the tennis legend decided to surprise everyone as he decided to travel by train. On his way through, Andy was spotted by several fans who wanted to click a picture with him.

Being the admirable man he is, Murray stopped to pose with a few of his fans who took to Twitter to share the pictures. While the fans who were lucky enough to meet him were ecstatic to see him, the ones who were close by but couldn’t get a glimpse of him were left jealous.

After a string of below-par performances, Murray is expected to deliver better performances at the Moselle Open. The former World No. 1 has received wildcard entries in a number of tournaments, but he hasn’t been able to improve his ranking to a great extent as of yet.
