With Biden vs Trump debate in full swing and the US president elections inching closer, Trump seems to be getting support from the cream of the crop, viz. UFC Fighters. Jorge Masvidal – the BMF, has voiced out his support for Trump, wherein he will be joining Donald Trump Jr. on a day long ” Fighters Against Socialism” bus tour across Florida this Saturday. The news was first broken by Ariel Helwani of ESPN and Jorge’s retweet of the same confirmed things.

The tweet garnered an immense uproar. The East Coast fighter going by the nickname “Street Jesus” has often associated himself with acts which are gangster material. And, now since he has joined hands with Donald Trump, the MMA world is disappointed as his Gamebred brand nowhere matches with the persona of the President. Some people on twitter even urged him to give up the BMF belt.

Former UFC fighter Nathan Quarry also took a jibe at Masvidal for the same. A let down Nate retweeted Helwani’s tweet stating that he would happily stand amidst the crowd surrounding the tour bus and ask why Trump killed the Ali Expansion Act. The Ali Expansion act is an act introduced in 1999 to protect the welfare of the fighters. And, it also had clauses which prohibited a particular body to have control over the fighters. A lot of former UFC fighters have accused the brand of manipulating rankings and title fights.

Donald Trump is a massive fan of Jorge Masvidal. ” What a champion you are”!, were the words of Trump on Jorge’s 5 Second KO of Ben Askren. And Jorge too has constantly voiced out his support for President Tweety, often showing up at rallies. Jorge is well aware that he would lose a lot of fans for his support of Trump. But, it looks like the friendship is only getting thicker.
