WWE Superstar The Miz considers himself to be an A-lister. He constantly praises his superior acting abilities too. Now it seems like that the host of Miz TV has decided his next big acting project.

The former WWE Champion has pitched the idea of being cast for the next Mortal Kombat movie. He recently took to Twitter to make his case as the next Johnny Cage for the sequel. His post even included a photoshopped image of himself to look like the video game character.

Mortal Kombat is a video game that has been synonymous with the fighting genre. The popularity of the game led to a movie rendition of the game, which was recently released. But one character that did not feature in the movie was Johnny Cage.

This led to The Miz suggesting that he should take up the role. Interestingly, he even got a positive response from one the co-creators of the game, Ed Boon.

Johnny Cage is a movie star/martial-artist. The character was inspired by Jean-Claude Van Damme. The character is a perfect fit for The Miz, as they are quite similar. The character is too full of himself and provides comic relief in most cases, just like Miz.
