Ian was also a part of the recent controversy, in which South African pacer Dale Steyn stated that he got Sachin out LBW in 190’s when he was on his way to ODI’s first-ever double hundred by any man.

“Tendulkar scored the first double hundred in ODI cricket, and it was against us in Gwalior. And I actually remember — I think I got him out lbw when he was about 190-odd. Ian Gould was the umpire, and he gave him not out,” the South Africa pacer said England bowler James Anderson in Sky Sports Cricket Podcast.
