La Liga Club Leganes Coach, Javier Aguire suggested that the competition will restart from June 20 but La Liga refused to confirm the announcement made by him as the competition is suspended since March.
“There are no confirmed dates to return to competition,” a La Liga spokesman told Reuters on Thursday.
“We will begin training sessions and then wait for the government’s decision about the established dates. Our intention is to return to competition in June as long as the government decides it is ok to do so,” he added.
Javier Aguire, whose team is on the 19th rank in the table, has said that the season will begin again from June 20 and finish officially on July 26 and also said that there will be 11 rounds of matches on Saturday, Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday.
“La Liga has just told me this officially and I’m very happy that we now have our training programme scheduled, ” said Aguire.
All the top competition has been suspended across-the- world along with Spanish football season La Liga.
Most of the club’s including Barcelona and Leganes are going to resume training on Friday. As the club’s will be undergoing a Coronavirus test on Wednesday.
On Thursday, Bundesliga announced to resume the football action from May 16.
